Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA seeks a Radiologic Technologist for inpatient imaging. You will safely operate radiographic equipment, position patients, apply radiation protection, and select technical factors to produce high-quality radiographs.

This role requires ARRT registration, LSRT license, BLS, and the ability to support weekend shifts. The position emphasizes fast-paced patient care, strong guest relations, and collaboration with the radiology team to ensure accurate study

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• ARRT registered in Radiology and LSRT licensed (new grads may present a temporary LSRT license with full license within 60 days).
• Current BLS certification (ILCOR-based courses with manikin check off).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate radiographic equipment and position patients.
• Apply radiation protection devices and set appropriate technical factors.
• Track patient studies and ensure PACS acquisition of completed studies.
• Perform other delegated radiology department tasks as needed.
