Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer inpatient PT programs in an acute setting. You will restore function, prevent disability, and guide patients toward maximum independence, while collaborating with the care team and ensuring comprehensive discharge planning.

The role requires evaluating patients, designing care plans, documenting progress, and providing supervision to PTA and Rehab Tech staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• North Carolina Physical Therapy license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to inpatients seven days a week, including holidays.
• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate care plans and modalities.
• Document evaluations, treatments and progress notes accurately.
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning with physicians and staff.
• Supervise PTA(s) and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
