Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physical Therapist I for an inpatient role covering the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington and Lahey Medical Center in Peabody. The position is a split day shift with ~20% in Peabody and ~80% in Burlington, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend commitment at Burlington.

Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, patient education, discharge planning, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• BS Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MA Physical Therapy license OR candidates for licensure by examination.
• American Heart Association – BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve or restore function.
• Develop treatment plans with measurable outcomes.
• Provide patient/family education during therapy and discharge planning.
• Document discharge summaries per department policy and maintain medical records.
