Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work within a multidisciplinary group to treat patients across acute neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and multi-system conditions in the acute care setting.

Under supervision of a licensed PT, you will deliver evidenced-based rehabilitation, balance early mobilization with medical stability, and help with discharge planning to support patients returning to their highest level of function.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active MA PTA license is required.
• Minimum of one year experience in healthcare or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans under supervisor.
• Document progress and maintain medical records.
• Support timely discharges and coordinate with the care team.
• Attend training and share knowledge with colleagues.
