UnityPoint Health – Meriter is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapy Aide II for our inpatient acute care team. FTE 0.9 (36 hrs/week); Sunday–Friday 10a–6p with a holiday weekend rotation. Compensation starts at $22.46 per hour plus benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting with exercises and mobility under supervision, preparing therapy spaces, maintaining equipment, and supporting team scheduling. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior patient care or clinic support duties preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in patient care under direct supervision of Physical Therapist, PT Assistant, or Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting.
• Assist with exercises, transfers and mobility.
• Prepare therapy session equipment and organize therapy gym space.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; report needs to management.
• Support team scheduling and ordering as needed.
• Contribute to the hospital Mobility Program for patient mobility.
• Be open to feedback and ongoing learning with the team.
