Job summary

Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our Inpatient Therapy team in the Rehab Therapy Department. The role supports licensed therapists by assisting with patient-related activities and maintaining a safe, orderly therapy environment.

The aide role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BCLS certification, with availability for weekday daytime shifts and required weekend coverage as described. Prior hospital exposure is favored.

Qualifications

• Assist with patient care activities as directed by therapists and assistants.
• Support both inpatient and activity specific care tasks as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in therapy areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean patient care areas.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform clerical duties and billing as assigned.
• Stock therapy items and transport patients.
• Carry out duties assigned by Team Lead or Therapists.
