Job summary

CFG Health Network is seeking a full-time inpatient Psychiatrist to provide care at Inspira Bridgeton and Mannington, NJ, joining a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

You will share the patient census with an Advanced Practice Nurse, participate in treatment planning, rounds, and discharge coordination, and handle court-related responsibilities at Mannington.

The role supports collaboration across hospital teams with a focus on high-acuity care and careful documentation in Epic.

Qualifications

• MD or DO and board cert/eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active NJ medical license or eligibility required
• Current DEA and CDS registrations or eligibility to obtain
• Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and medication management.
• Manage a daily census of ~15–16 patients with APN collaboration.
• Daily rounds; participate in multidisciplinary treatment meetings.
• Collaborate with residents and other disciplines; provide guidance.
• Complete documentation in Epic.
• Discharge planning with the team; coordinate with social work.
• Handle involuntary admissions and court-related responsibilities at Mannington.
• Support resident education when present
