Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Amarillo is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to join its multidisciplinary team. You will provide direct clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning, plus individual, family, and group therapy to support adults and seniors with anxiety, depression and related conditions.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across age groups.
• Ability to assess and interpret data to identify patient needs with sensitivity to age, disability and culture.
• Familiarity with mental illness and chemical dependency and related family dynamics.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical therapy modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services including assessments, interventions, and discharge planning.
• Plan and conduct individual, family or group therapy as assigned.
• Review multidisciplinary assessments and develop Multidisciplinary Treatment Plans.
• Perform case management and discharge planning as assigned.
• Attend multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and summarize progress.
• Deliver ethical patient care that respects dignity and privacy.
