The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT is seeking an experienced Inpatient Psychiatric RN to contribute to two locked-unit teams (16-bed and 12-bed) with an emphasis on treatment planning, assessments, and multidisciplinary care.

Active VT RN licensure is required; ADN is required and BSN preferred. This role offers a supportive team environment, ongoing preceptorships, and opportunities for professional growth in a hospital known for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area, varies by unit.

Responsibilities

• Participate in treatment plans, treatment rounds, psychiatric assessment and care, plus medical/surgical assessment and care.
• Cover Charge RN role and provide precepting to others.
