Job summary

Apalachee Center, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care on the evening shift. You will take vital signs, administer medications as prescribed, and assist physicians in patient management and treatment.

You will perform nursing assessments, provide crisis intervention, maintain patient records, and coordinate care with the medical team. Florida RN licensure required; CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications must be current.

Qualifications

• Official transcripts from approved college or university.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred.
• Previous psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care and applies current nursing principles and techniques in patient care.
• Takes vital signs and administers medications as prescribed.
• Assists physicians in patient management and treatment.
• Provides Nursing assessment, monitoring, education, and treatment services and activities.
• Provides crisis intervention and maintains patient records.
