Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a registered nurse for the One North inpatient Behavioral Health unit in Charlotte, NC. This full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) consists of 36 hours per week within a 6-week schedule, including one weekend every 6 weeks.

You’ll provide and coordinate patient care in a safe, structured psychiatric setting. Required: accredited nursing program completion, active RN license in North Carolina, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric or crisis settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision making with compassionate, clear communication.
