Job summary

CenterPointeHospital in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a full-time Experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment under Medical Director supervision. The role supports adolescents, adults, and seniors across inpatient and detox programs within Acadia Healthcare's behavioral health network.

You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, participate in Master Treatment Plans, perform assessments, and coordinate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing; Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing NP.
• Experience in addiction highly preferred.
• Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed to practice in the state; DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or with a healthcare team.
• Participate in the formulation of patient Master Treatment Plan.
• Assess physical and psychiatric health and formulate measures to meet patient needs.
• Chart clinical observations, evaluations and treatments within guidelines.
• Provide on-call responsibilities on a scheduled basis.
