Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Harding Hospital seeks a Psychiatric Care Technician (PCT) for the 3NP Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit. You will join a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care, support treatment plans, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with RNs, unit clerical staff, and therapists.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous patient care experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.
• Successful completion of PCA training course required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Join a care team to provide patient care and supportive services.
• Support patient involvement in care plans and care goals.
• Assist with inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization care.
