The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center and Harding Hospital are seeking an Inpatient Psychiatric Social Worker to join the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. You will manage a caseload, conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, provide crisis intervention, and educate patients and families within inpatient psychiatric units.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling or related field.
• Valid Ohio licensure (LSW or LPC) required; independent licensure (LISW or LPCC) preferred.
• Eligibility for future independent licensure required.
• Pre or Post-Master’s training and experience in mental illness and/or substance disorders is also required.
• Internship experience in mental health & crisis assessments, case-management, and psychosocial interventions preferred.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

• Complete psychosocial assessments using DSM-5/ICD-10 and document findings.
• Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Provide crisis intervention and patient/family education as part of care.
• Assist with discharge planning and community linkage for follow-up.
