The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatric Care Technician (PCT) to join a patient-focused care team. You will work with RNs, Unit Clerical Associates, and other interdisciplinary staff to provide direct patient support across inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization psychiatry.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED preferred, and successful completion of PCA training after hire.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.
• Successful completion of PCA training course required after hire.
• Previous patient care experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support patient care as a member of a care team with RN, PCT, UCA and other staff.
• Contribute to patient involvement in the care plan and continuity of care.
• Assist in inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization care as part of a diverse team.
• Provide services aimed at improving care quality and efficiency.
