Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Mental Health Associate for the Psych Unit in Marlborough, MA. This 32-hour/day shift on-site role involves direct patient care, treatment planning, documentation, and milieu safety activities.

You will help lead group activities and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under supervision. Requirements include an associate degree or 2+ years of behavioral health experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in behavioral health required.
• AHA/BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• AVADE training required within 30 days of hire.
• Two years’ health-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the mental health team on inpatient/outpatient units.
• Delivers direct patient care, documents plans, and conducts milieu safety checks.
• Leads or co-leads group activities and supports a therapeutic environment.
