Job summary

PsychPlus in Austin, TX seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for inpatient psychiatry. The role offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule and a competitive compensation package based on experience.

Location is Austin, Texas, with full-time (W-2 or 1099) employment. Active TX license and DEA registration, plus PMHNP or PA-C certification, are required. Benefits include health, vision, life insurance, 401(k), CME funds, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or inpatient medicine.
• Active Texas license and DEA registration.
• PMHNP or PA-C certification, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• PMHNPs will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for inpatient behavioral health patients.
• PA-Cs are welcome to apply for either inpatient or outpatient roles depending on experience and qualifications.
