Job summary

PsychPlus is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our inpatient behavioral health teams in Austin and Georgetown, Texas. The role features a 7-On / 7-Off schedule and is offered as a full-time position (W-2 or 1099 options).

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of inpatient psychiatric experience, holds an active Texas license with DEA registration, and is board-certified in PMHNP or PA-C credentials.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of psychiatry or inpatient behavioral health experience.
• Active Texas license and DEA registration required.
• Board-certified PMHNP or PA-C with relevant psychiatric credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for inpatient behavioral health patients.
• PA-Cs welcome to apply for the inpatient role, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• PMHNPs will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care for inpatient behavioral health patients.
• PA-Cs are welcome to apply for the inpatient role, depending on their experience and qualifications.

Compensation

• up-to $160,000 annually
• Compensation is based on experience.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, inpatient medicine, or a related setting.
• Active Texas (TX) license and DEA registration are required.
• Board-certified PMHNP with active certification or a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with the appropriate credentials and experience in psychiatric care.
