Job summary

The Plastic Surgery APP works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. In conjunction with the attending, residents, and co-APPs, the APP will oversee care from consultation, inpatient management, assisting in the operating room, discharge and outpatient setting.

The focus of this APP position will be within our hand surgery team, though a vital member of the entire plastic surgery group.

Qualifications

• Required Education: MSN for Nurse Practitioners or BS for Physician Assistants.
• Required Related Experience: No experience required.
• License/Registration/Certification: APRN or PA-C.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care from consultation, inpatient management, assisting in the operating room, discharge and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, residents and co-APPs.
• Maintain high quality, evidence-based care and documentation.
