Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team. You will provide direct inpatient care, assess patients, and develop personalized plans to support recovery in a supportive environment.

You'll supervise treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to celebrate progress and outcomes. A current state license and CPR certification are required; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
