Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver direct inpatient care at our rehabilitation hospital. You will assess patients, design personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with the care team to promote meaningful recovery and functional gains.

As a licensed professional with CPR certification, you will supervise therapies, document progress, and communicate with patients and families. We offer opportunities for professional growth within a national leader in post-acute care

Qualifications

• State licensure required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• Master's Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree plus experience acceptable.
• Relevant degree in physical therapy or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
• Celebrating every victory along the way.

Education
