Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide inpatient care, lead patient assessments, and develop personalized care plans. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients on their rehabilitation journey and celebrate their progress every step of the way.

The ideal candidate holds current state licensure, CPR certification, and a preference for a Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient field experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
• Celebrating every victory along the way.
