Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide direct inpatient care within our collaborative rehabilitation team. You’ll assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, supervise therapies, and support recovery with compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualified candidates hold current state licensure, CPR certification, and a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
