Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Muskogee, OK is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (OT) to join our team delivering compassionate care and helping patients regain mobility and independence.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, educate staff and families, document progress per regulations, and maintain a safe, efficient work area while upholding our mission to make communities healthier.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them improve day by day.
• Instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and charges.
• Document patient care per regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Adhere to company conduct and applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
