Job summary

Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for our inpatient unit. The role focuses on treating patients with neurological and medically complex orthopedic conditions, using modern techniques to plan comprehensive care.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating varied disabilities, developing individualized modalities, and communicating with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families to support education and care planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Connecticut PT license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats patients with disabilities to help clients achieve maximum functional independence.
• Develops and conducts techniques and modalities to provide individualized treatment to established goals.
• Modifies treatment plans and goals due to changes in client status and capabilities.
• Maintains communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and family members to facilitate problem solving and education.
