Job summary

MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in California is seeking a Certified Lymphedema Physical Therapist (CLT) to provide comprehensive PT services from pediatrics through geriatrics. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, care planning, treatment, reassessment, discharge planning and education.

Per Diem, days shift, with CA licensure and BLS. One year of hospital-based PT experience is preferred; strong education and related background may be considered.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy license.
• Current BLS/CPR from American Heart Association.
• Hospital-based PT experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Performs a physical therapy patient examination.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnosis/outcomes of care.
• Designs a physical therapy plan of care.
• Performs physical therapy interventions in a competent manner.
• Educates others using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Produces documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services.
• Uses support personnel according to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Be at work and be on time.
• Addresses the age specific needs of all populations served.
• Follow company policies, procedures and directives.
• Interact in a positive and constructive manner.
• Prioritize and multitask.
