Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for a per diem, part-time role in our Inpatient Acute Care Unit at Hartford.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients, collaborate with providers, and support discharge planning. Requires CT license and strong communication skills; expects a flexible schedule within a rotating shift framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current CT license required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats to help clients achieve maximum functional independence.
• Work in a fast-paced hospital environment with ongoing collaboration with staff, patients, and families.
• Develops and carries out techniques and modalities for individualized treatment to established goals.
• Modifies treatment plans as client status changes.
• Provides clear status updates to patients, families, the treatment team and other professionals.
