Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, invites applications for an Inpatient Physical Therapist. This per diem, part-time role is in the Inpatient Acute Care Unit, focusing on mobility, discharge readiness, and individualized treatment plans.

You will evaluate, treat, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient progress and safe discharge from hospital settings. A CT license and effective communication are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current State of CT license.
• Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats to improve mobility and independence.
• Collaborates with staff, patients, and families in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Delivers varied techniques and modalities to meet patient goals.
• Modifies treatment plans as patient status changes.
• Communicates patient status clearly to treatment team.
