Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years work experience preferred.
• Licenses: Physical Therapist license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Discusses evaluation, goals, and treatment with patient and family.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
• Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
• Completes billing accurately.
