Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Current Arkansas Physical Therapy license is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Hospital-based acute care or inpatient rehab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop plans of care.
• Provide interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Reassess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support safe discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and therapy colleagues.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and mobility safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting progress and discharge needs.
• Identify safety risks and apply fall-prevention strategies.
• Contribute to a patient-centered, quality-focused care environment.
