The Physical Medicine Tech reports to the Physical Medicine Manager and, under the supervision of a licensed rehabilitation professional, supports patient care and department operations within Physical Medicine. This role assists with therapeutic activities as directed, prepares treatment areas and equipment, supports patient flow, and helps maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment while working collaboratively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Work Environment:This position will spend 70% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 30% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position will serve a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population. This position may be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
