Job summary

Asante is seeking a Phlebotomist for RRMC inpatient services in Medford, OR. The role requires open availability for on-call shifts, with a training period of 4–6 weeks full-time on all shifts.

Shifts include 3:00am–1:30pm, 1:00pm–11:30pm, and 9:00pm–7:30am, with potential weekend work and shift differentials. Minimum 1 year of lab/healthcare experience is preferred; completion of a certified phlebotomy program may waive experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience: minimum 1 year of laboratory or healthcare-related experience; certificate may waive experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform 10 to 12 draws per hour after training.
• Work in the Emergency Department and NICU as needed.
• Collaborate with patients to continually improve the patient experience.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflow.
• Coordinate collection of specimens with coworkers with proper prioritization.
• Demonstrate accurate phlebotomy skills across a diverse patient population.
