Advocate Health, operating Atrium Health facilities, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy location. You will support licensed pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, handling labeling, and assisting with inventory and procurement in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state board registration, and a CPhT/ExCPT certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Registration or licensure with state board of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or ExCPT within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Label, prepare, and handle medications including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
