Indiana University Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy department in inventory management, preparation, distribution, compounding, and medication histories. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with refill orders, order entry, and preparation for pharmacist check, contributing to safe and accurate medication delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required or intern/extern license if enrolled in pharmacy college.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification required unless enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
• Strong math and calculation skills essential.

Responsabilités

• Support pharmacy department in inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, and medication histories.
• Handle refill orders, enter orders, and prepare medications for pharmacist check.
• Assist with bulk compounding and preparation of IV solutions as needed.
• Maintain records and minimize medication errors through standard procedures.
