Preferred candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, a valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License OR intern/extern license if enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification required unless enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy department in inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, processing of medications and supplies, specialty medications, and medication histories.
• Assist with medication processing including answering phones, taking refill orders, entering orders, preparing medications for pharmacist check, and disbursement/delivery.
• Maintain records, stock, and inventory; deliver supplies; assist in bulk compounding and IV preparations as needed.
• Work with pharmacy staff to minimize errors and follow standard policies and procedures.
