Under general supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and/or Supervisor, the Pharmacy Technician III assists the pharmacist in preparing medications for patient use (oral and parenteral) according to established procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in medication distribution, record keeping, billing, maintaining inventory levels, and performing operational duties in scheduled areas. The technician may also assist in completing medication histories for patients.
Note: Depending on experience, the position will be hired at the Pharm Tech II or Pharm Tech III level.
Annual full pay range: $64,519 - $80,200 (pro-rated if less than 100% appointment).
Hourly range: $30.90 - $38.41.
Factors influencing salary include experience, skills, education, licensure, and organizational needs. The listed pay scale is the university's budgeted range, which may be broader due to internal equity, budget, and bargaining agreements.
