Description

Under supervision, the Pharmacy Technician III assists pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, inventory management, and may assist with medication histories. Depending on experience, this role will be hired at the Tech II or Tech III level.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) issued by PTCB
• Pharmacy Technician License from the California State Board of Pharmacy
• 2-5 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and calculations
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IV sterile compounding
• 3+ years in an inpatient hospital setting

Special Conditions

• Flexible hours and locations as needed
• Background check and pre-employment physical required

Compensation

Annual full pay range: $64,519 - $80,200; hourly: $30.90 - $38.41. Salary depends on experience, skills, and organizational needs.

Additional Requirements

Compliance with vaccination policies, life-support certifications, and drug-free environment policies is required.
