Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Hawaii State certificate of registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB-certified Pharmacy Technician Training Program or ASHP-accredited program; or 3 months of work experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Fill routine orders and pre-pack medications for inpatient pharmacy.
• Manage floor stock and prepare medications for automated dispensing.
• May be trained to compound sterile products or manage controlled medications.
• Perform duties in accordance with department and Medical Center policies.
