Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for inpatient duties at Skokie Hospital. This per diem role involves assisting pharmacists, dispensing and labeling medications, and supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Required Illinois license and HS diploma with certification timing expectations. Prior hospital experience is preferred and per diem rotation may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: CPhT preferred; certification required within two years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred; retail experience for retail positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, fills and labels medications for final dispensing authorization by the Pharmacists.
• Prepares unit dose according to refill list and assists with automated stations.
• Conducts rounds to nursing units and prepares medications for transportation rounds.
• Performs pharmacy-related tasks to maintain efficiency and organization.
• Assists in maintaining inventory of RX and OTC medications.
