Job summary
Logan Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for its Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy in Kalispell, MT. The role supports medication distribution, inventory management, and patient care within a collaborative team environment.
Qualified candidates hold MT licensure and have training in pharmacy tech programs, with preference for hospital pharmacy and EHR experience. The position includes evening/weekend differential and comprehensive benefits in a full-time schedule.
Qualifications
- Active MT Board of Pharmacy licensure as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing required.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
- RQI First Responder within 7 days of hire or transfer required.
- Prior experience with Pharmacy Systems and Electronic Health Records preferred.
Responsibilities
- Distribute medications from pharmacy to inpatient/outpatient areas.
- Assist in IV admixtures and sterile/non-sterile compounding as applicable for senior roles.
- Maintain accurate inventory, order/receive/shelve medications and communicate shortages.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems and assist in staff development and training.
- Maintain a neat, compliant work environment and support confidentiality.
