Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient to join our clinical team. You will work under the supervision of a staff pharmacist, assisting in dispensing and transporting medications, and learning non-sterile and sterile compounding while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role offers exposure to inpatient and outpatient care within a Magnet Hospital environment, with opportunities to use state-of-the-art technologies and an integrated practice model

Qualifications

• Role: Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient under supervision
• Maintain required documentation and records
• No prior experience required; entry level role

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; regulatory cleanliness compliance.
• Assists in preparation of medication orders including workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
• Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports inventory activities including storage, ordering, rotating, and shelf-life management.
