Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations. Under supervision, you will perform drug distribution, pre-packaging, and inventory tasks in Pyxis medstations, with IV and chemotherapy sterile compounding as needed.

Candidates should have a CA Pharmacy Technician license and at least 2 years of inpatient experience, with strong calculation and terminology knowledge. The role includes varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assist under supervision with routine drug distribution and pre-packaging duties.
Maintain Pyxis medstations inventory, including filling and checking for outdates.
Perform IV and chemotherapy sterile compounding as required.
Handle record keeping such as refrigerator temperature logs and hood cleaning.
Support billing, housekeeping and security functions in the pharmacy area.
