The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient, PRN supports a 24-hour pharmacy at Tradition Hospital, a 190-bed facility with high patient volume and strong service lines including labor and delivery and stroke care. This role works across multiple shift-based workflows, contributing to sterile compounding in the IV room, medication preparation and delivery to patient care areas, and refilling automated dispensing cabinets. Additional responsibilities include batching medications, handling missing medication requests, answering phones, and tubing medications to nursing units. This position offers hands‑on experience in a fast-paced, team‑oriented inpatient environment.
A caregiver in this position will work PRN hours.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Compliance with an influenza prevention program, which includes obtaining an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption.
