Job summary

Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital inpatient pharmacy team is seeking a pharmacist/tech for full time night shift (9:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), rotating through IV admixture, unit dose, and potential OR/outpatient rotations. Roles emphasize safe med handling, accurate dispensing, and patient education.

The department values collaboration with healthcare providers and a strong focus on medication safety to improve patient outcomes in a large teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with sterile compounding and/or hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• Licensed MI Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store, distribute and dispense prescriptions under supervision.
• Rotate through IV admixture and unit dose service.
• Assist in OR and Outpatient Pharmacy rotations as required.
• Enter charges and keep records for medications and IV admixtures.
