Job summary

Corewell Health Royal Oak Hospital seeks a full-time inpatient pharmacy professional for the night shift (9:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., 40 hours/week). The role supports sterile compounding, unit-dose distribution, IV admixtures, and medication preparation under pharmacist supervision.

You’ll perform data entry, inventory, and cross-functional tasks to ensure safe patient care in a hospital setting. The team emphasizes medication safety, ongoing learning, and adherence to 797 guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preference for sterile compounding experience or ASHP-trained technician.
• Michigan licensure for Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern on hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store, distribute, and dispense prescriptions.
• Rotate through IV admixture and unit-dose service.
• Enter charges and maintain records for medications and IV admixtures.
• Distribute medications to patient care areas and assist with inventory.
• Follow 797 guidelines for intravenous admixtures and maintain a safe work area.
