Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparing medications for patients under a pharmacist's supervision. You will receive and enter orders, label and dispense medications, and deliver them to patient care areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and Michigan Pharmacy Technician license, with 6 months pharmacy experience preferred. You will work on the full-time midnight shift at Moross Detroit and help maintain inventory and records.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Picks up medication orders and delivers medications to patient care areas.
• Accurately interprets and enters medication orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Determines quantities needed to fill prescriptions and prepares medications for dispensing.
• Aseptically compounding and labeling intravenous solutions as instructed.
• Fills unit-dose cassettes with appropriate medications.
• Maintains inventory and records; processes medication charges for services rendered.
• Mentors and assists in teaching pharmacy technicians and students.
