BARNES-JEWISH WEST COUNTY HOSPITAL seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 3 to join a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves cross-coverage for technician duties, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and participation in medication order preparation and dispensing under supervision.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of pharmacy technician experience, a State Board Pharmacy Registration, and Pharmacy Tech Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; ensures regulatory cleanliness compliance.
• Assists in preparation of medication orders, workflow management, basic preparation and dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
• Supports inventory activities: storage, ordering, rotation, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
• Provides cross coverage for multiple technician competencies and areas of focus.
• Pursues proficiency in complex sterile compounds and other advanced skills.
