Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital in Dayton, OH, seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to assist the pharmacist with the preparation of medications for dispensing in the inpatient pharmacy. You will perform technical tasks and ensure accurate medication preparation in accordance with Pharmacy Department policies and procedures under supervision.

Required: HSD/GED and CPhT (Ohio Board of Pharmacy). Shift availability includes 1st/2nd, every other weekend, four days a week, totaling 40 hours.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED is required.
• CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician - State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with the preparation of medications for dispensing.
• Perform technical and supportive tasks to provide pharmacy services.
• Work under supervision and ensure accurate medication preparation following established policy and procedures.
• Train technicians and participate in quality improvement projects.
