Job summary

Community Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II to support the Pharmacy department. You will transcribe orders, prepare and distribute medications, and assist with sterile and non-sterile compounding under a pharmacist's supervision.

The role requires a valid CA Pharmacy Technician registration, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years of related experience. CMH emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid California Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• Completion of CMH sterile compounding core skills evaluation within ninety days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes physicians orders onto patient medication profiles under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
• Selects/prepares medications, pharmaceutical products, IV admixtures, and maintains drug inventory.
• Performs drug distribution duties, pre-packaging, stocking, and operates automated dispensing cabinets and Carousel.
• Compounds sterile and non-sterile preparations and ensures medication security.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Sterile compounding core skills evaluation within 90 days
