Job summary
ProHealth Care, Inc. is seeking Tier 1 Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacists with basic pharmaceutical duties under supervision.
You will perform calculations, use computer systems, and interact with other healthcare personnel as part of the PHC team in a patient-centered environment. This role involves stock ordering, drug product selection, nonsterile preparation, and handling controlled substances, along with insurance adjudication, prescription entry, cash handling, and inventory
Qualifications
- Proficient in basic mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations.
- Strong computer and telephone skills.
- Ability to interact well with healthcare personnel.
- Experience with stock ordering and control.
- Knowledge of drug product selection and nonsterile preparation.
Responsibilities
- Order and control of stock and selection of drug products.
- Nonsterile drug preparation and handling of controlled substances.
- Operate pharmacy automated systems and support insurance adjudication.
- Enter prescriptions, manage cash, and maintain inventory accuracy.
